Many of us wear eye make-up every day with no issues, but eyes can be sensitive, especially when you’re going for a more dramatic look. A few simple habits can help you protect comfort and eye health:` • Check expiry dates (mascara and eyeliner are usually the quickest to go) • Don’t share products, it’s an easy way to spread infections • Avoid the inner waterline, it can block oil glands and trigger irritation or dry eye • Remove all make-up before bed to reduce the risk of blocked glands and styes • False lashes can cause reactions to glue and may affect contact lens comfort • Glitter should be cosmetic-grade, and handled carefully to avoid scratching the eye If your eyes feel sore, gritty, unusually watery, or your lids are irritated, get in touch and we’ll guide you on next steps. #EyeHealth #Opticians #MakeupTips #EyeCare
